The dove

At Whitsuntide we celebrate
The Holy Dove who  will remake
The life within the human soul
With intent to make us whole
For our life is no mistake
We’re here to live, be not afraid
For  virtue is why we  are made
But also laughter, be not staid
At Whitsuntide
Some  are  silent ,some create
Some are  cruel and devastate
We tell stories new and old
The dove brings peace  which us enfolds
