If that’s the cliff twixt Dover and Folkstone, I was walking the beach on the other side of the railway line just this very day. It’s a wonderful place to have a good think. Regards, Miuke
How wonderful in the sunshine We were often surprised how few people go to this area for a day or for a longer holiday.I hope your friend is still with us and enjoying Kent.

Ted is still there in Capel-le-Ferne, although presently checking his house in France to see if all is OK. I so miss France, I have to say. As to Capel, mad Rosie, our puppy, loves not just the unusual WW1 designed beaches, that from a distance look like sand, yet in reality are mainly stone…one can squeeze history out of the air…but also the massive fields upon which she runs amock and making new canine chums along the way. I agree with you, there’s something a tad special there.
We liked it and once drove to Hythe when the stubble was bsteep road.It must be frustrating being so near France.I hope your friend gets on ok . Flowers blooming
Thanks, Katherine. Yes, my beloved France is not on my list this year…what with a puppy not yet ready for a long car journey, plus the fact that I’m no longer a citizen of Europe. The loss of that citizenship irks me to the extent…pathetic as it may sound…it created the ‘stress’ that gave gifted me ‘stress related’ IBS and now I’m stuck with it. Such is life! Have a fine weekend and beyond. Regards, Mike
I understand I had IBS until I got severe arthriti.
It’s such a nonsense
I taught a lot if black students where and U think of them..
One didn’t seem bitter he said it’s just the way the world us.

It’s not too pathetic at all
