Here we have new maps that need new frames

Living by an empty space is strange
The vacuum left by death remains and stares
No matter how the chairs are rearranged

Every part of life will soon be changed
Invisible the Cross we have to bear
Living by an empty space is strange

Now we sit so still, as if we’re chained
Heaviness will squash us and our cares
No matter how the chairs are rearranged

The energy is low, the battery drained
Shall we question whether life if fair?
Sitting by an empty chair is strange

Here we have new maps that need new frames
Do we freeze or turn into thin air?
How scattered, how our thoughts,we rearrange.

We see our lost ones. sorrow brings ghosts near
From our eyes the blessed tears run bare
Living with the emptiness, all cringe
The bedroom door swings on its metal hinge

Waxy flowers in the snow

Waxy flowers poking through
Snow so white
Flowers bright.
Made me think of you.

I see once more your dark gold hair,
Soft as snow,
On pillow.
Now my bed is bleak and bare ,

Face alight,flower to sun,
I loved you.
Love so true.
Fear by love,overcome.

Cyclamen in the snow,
Pink and red,
Now frozen,dead.
Love was,oh,so long ago.
But never gone from in my mind.

Thoughts so deep,
Upwards seep.
Love was gentle,love was kind,
You’re always in my mind
