My velleity is not enough to call desire.
It summons up no demons with its power.
Yet denying it would make me a true liar.
I have a wish which fills my surprised hour.
If tremulous velleity should fall away
My life would be a sentence to be served.
I cannot judge if I have gone astray.
Did I go straight and miss some hidden gentle curve?
At any instant, we may make a choice
Which sets us on a track we did not see.
Or daydreaming, ignore dear psyche’s voice;
And with will power, demand how life should be.
Attention must be paid ,or lost
Is our vocation and we pay full cost
