How my heart speaks

Mainly poetry illustrated by beautiful photographs and digital art

Day: Feb 3, 2022

Noah

There was a young woman from York.

Who did not speak English but barked

When I asked her why

She started to cry

I joked, can’t you stop or at least get an Ark?

Lady from Nairn

Katherine made this

There was an old lady from Nairn

Who loved to lie down amidst

ferns

Until she lay on a thistle

Her words made dogs whistle

This is quite common we learn.

The tree

The branches show a creamy grey today.

Unmoved by birds or wind, no feel of play
