Winks

My husband bore a grudge against my mind

He asked me to remove it for a time

But where is it situated I enquired

Behead me if you must,I am no liar

If without my head I please a man

On all ladies heads should be now banned

Of course without a head we cannot think

Nor be alive to wisdom, nor men’s winks.

Can we live forever with no brain?

If you cannot speak be dumb again
