Are commas?

He sent me a fragment, of my sentence.
Thirty,I cannot speak.
Is it days or years?Let’s split the infin-itive.
I never knew Oxford was full of, commas
Did you?
Yes,of course.

A spliced comma is like a rope
Used for tying up boats.
The strands are inter-linked to for a new whole.
That is the theory or ,more correctly, the image or metaphor..
Can a theory be  a simile?
I do not mean smilie.
Though I do, like a smile,
Cheer you up
If you can see
The Oxford Comma is taught in New Zealand but not in Oxford.
