Fun for children

As well as these amusements, the market  square had a large sandpit where children were making sandcastles and the ice-cream van was of course drawn up nearby.I think it is very  nice for children who are not able to go on holiday. We have a lot of Turkish people here and no doubt some may be afraid to pay a visit this summer.I go to a Turlish coffee shop and they are so courteous it’s like we were 50 years ago.
Lots of young families were walking about. Some people with very striking faces; a man with a big lanky frame, blonde hait and a very impressive nose holding the hand of a little girl and on the other side a lovely young woman. When I came here I was regarded as a foreigner…. still am  by some  neighbours… because people come into my house who are not family.
