Microsoft Strikes Again – How to NOT Upgrade to Windows 10

Windows 7 is being given updates till 2020.If you are told you need new hardware  to get Windows 10 it may be cheaper to buy a new laptop instead,apparently.

  1. i tried ‘upgrading’ a while ago but found lots of things no longer worked on my system, so I reverted to Win 7. Even so, Windows Update doesn’t seem to have been working properly, ever since. I have no intention of changing to Win 10, until I change my computer, and then it may well be a Mac instead.

    1. My large laptop in still in Windows 7.The media player has been removed on Windows 10… and other things.On my smaller laptop I have Windows 10 and it seems ok.
      They claim Windows & update should work until 2020 .Have you contacted them?
