I like to go on eBay and buy myself some shoes
I never thought that I would want 2 shoes that someone’s used.
I don’t think they’ve been worn a lot they almost look brand new.
But when you’re on a pension what else can old folk do?
I like them brown I like them black I like them any hue

I think that it will save me cash if I buy second hand
And yes it is so tempting to see so many brands
A duffel coat from jäeger, a cashmere scarf like new
20 bras from m&s will stop me feeling blue
I could see my own psychiatrist to get some inner peace
I can go outside and see the sky and watch the flying geese
but I prefer to run up debts, it gives me inner peace
I gave my cash to charity, when first I paid the bills
But now I want to spend it all so I won’t need a will
I like to spend I’ll never save I like to feel so free
So when I die and meet the Lord how happy we will be.
