  1. Google fails to define what constitutes a ‘cup’. For a US cup, which is found in many recipe books, there are 4.22675 cups to a litre. according to Google (your measuring jug might struggle with 5 decimal places). In ‘metric’ countries they have settled on a 250 ml cup.
    How many ‘ounces’ are involved depends on the density of the fluid being poured. There also different definitions of the ounce!

    1. Somewhere in my family has been told to drink three liters of water a day and she asked me what that was so it doesn’t have to be very accurate. Still drinking 12 glasses or cups of water a day is quite a lot but it was causing symptoms in her throat
      I have noticed that many people are being diagnosed with dehydration including myself and I wonder if it’s just a fashion?!?
