Not quite English

My books are very evocative

But I feel they’re slightly provocative.

But they are not porn.

Not are they corn!

My tutor says they’re derogative.

I know there’s no such word as derogative

But there should be in my opinion-ative.

So I fear  I mislead

For I am in need

I want  both your love and prerogative.
