Problems with notifications etc?

I was having problems and discovered it was because

“accept third party cookies”

was disabled in Settings.I didn’t recall doing that but once I changed it everything went back to normal.

I had even reinstalled Chrome before that to no effect.

  1. Disabling cookies can be a nuisance at times because some websites really do depend on them.

    If anyone is not getting e-mail notifications, I should have thought it is more likely to be down to settings in your e-mail client. Try looking in the ‘trash’ folder, since some anti-spam measures can be over-enthusiastic!

    1. Thank you,Mike.On WP they say Gmail is particularly prone to do that though Outlook is worse or better depending on how safe you want to be.I hope this will help Bushka.
