May my grieving

Afflicted by the honour of your death
Both grief and privilege to attend you there
Afflicted by  emotions,short of breath
I weep for now I sadly miss your care.

Responsible for taking you  to death
And freely letting go of my desires
Tears like a very sheet  my face impressed.
After  He extinguished your fires.

Now with my older loves you dwell elsewhere
And  I , now suffering, linger in my lair.
Will you send me comfort  so I bear
The burden of  our grief without despair

For as in winter worms toil in the earth
Msy my grieving bring me to spring’s birth
