  1. It’s a good tale – there are a lot more honest people than dishonest but, unfortunately, the dishonest ones usually make a greater impact!

    I know so many people who immediately assume, when they have lost something, that it has been stolen. It rarely has!

Yes,indeed we often assume the worst about others.I suppose it’s like paranoia.. a tiny bit is useful but more is bad for us.I esoecially liked the way he tells the story and relates it to the work of Emmanuel Levinas of whom I am a fan.I had a quote from him in the funeral service booklet which severinglyal people liked very much,
      Interestingly, one man went home and began to read the Bible re the still small voice and I was moved by that.He is a very sensitive thoughtful man… like one or two others here on WP!:)
