The logic and the love

I once loved a doctor of logic

He was spiritual though he was agnostic.

I enjoyed our long walks

When we both could talk.

In fact I found his company magic.

He was very knowledgeable about birds.

And he knew of the histories of words..

He loved the tall trees

And flowers filled with bees.

His voice was the gentlest I’ve heard
