Love my cat

I once fell in love with a cat.
He was sitting right on my doormat.
I loved his big eyes,
And the way they told lies,
So I awarded him my aegrotat.

Wow, this cat has got a degree
In folk  dancing and psychotherapy.
He sits on my knee,
While I drink my tea.
And the best part…he charges no fee!
