About me

I have always lived in the UK alas.I was raised in the North of England but moved to the South and have spent my adult life here.It is a place where I still feel I am a foreigner.
My main interest used to be music and mathematics but I have changed.I like Art and writing poetry more.
I still love music.I also like conversation, reading and musing idly over bowl of buttons
I have been into the Tower of London but I think I shall not go again as seeing where Anne Boleyn and others were executed I find sad.
We do what we want and invent a God who.Henry 8th did not realise God was not that interested in him.Neither do we.We are flowers who live and die like daisies

Politics is taking my mind away from creating alas

  1. Now that I’ve met you I look forward to seeing more of your work. I read one of your poems and loved its directness, vividness, simplicity, and nice imagery. Thank you. Best wishes. I’m in Chicago.

  2. Hi Katherine, you have a lovely blog and I really like your sense of humour. Thanks for visiting my blog and following. Much appreciated.

  3. Inspiration and motivation enough! Nothing more deserving of your proof to the contrary than to be told ‘it can’t be done’—by a “friend,” no less. 😉 So glad you’re here.
    Cheers!
    Kathryn

      1. I don’t have a clue! I’m a scholarly writer by nature who ended up with a blog when my vision began to fail–oh, the irony, Creative writing is enough of a struggle for me, but appreciate all those creative-types! The world needs more…

  7. Bonjour

I think your prayers for more love have been answered. It shines through everything you do.
If there was a ‘Love Everything’ button l probably would have pressed it – twice.

Now l know where to come to be uplifted and inspired.

    Thank you

    Regards
